About this audiobook

Jamie MacKay has spent a lifetime serving as the right hand to the Laird of the MacKays. Now that he possesses his ancestral home again, he has his own plans for the future, including the ambition to start a new branch of the MacKays.

Lady Helen Sutherland has lived to please her father and honor the family name. But when her sire forces her into a betrothal with a man who is a known murderer, she finally finds the courage to say no.

Helen flees to the one place where she knows she'll find sanctuary and the love of a best friend. But there's a price to pay for her newly found freedom-the threat her father, the Earl of Sutherland, will use his influence and power to get her back and the red-headed warrior she meets in the MacKay great hall the night she arrives. No man has ever looked at her the way he does-to the depths of her soul.

Will fate play a cruel trick on Jamie and Helen, letting them find each other only to be torn apart, or will Highland courage inspire them to fight for true love?

I read this last night and it was an easy read but I don't think it'll be on a frequent rotation. I won't be removing it from my Kindle to make room but I predict it'll drop down the 'last read' list quite quickly as well.

I think the best way for me to sum up why I didn't enjoy this book as much as I was hoping to is that it was a 'slow cooker' type of read while I'm a 'pressure cooker' girl. Basically, I just felt that there was too much time covered, a quick event, then years / months pass, then the next installment. Most of the books I read on high rotation have a lot of things happening in a short space of time. This unfortunately didn't do that.

Truthfully, it may be more realistic that events take time to occur such as Frankie taking a year to locate Deuce and Eva but that's not why I read this kind of stuff. I can always read some faction if I was to see the gradual simmer of events leading to a conclusion which may or may not be apt.

I purchased the sequel as well so I'll read it sooner or later (dependant on mood)but I don't know if I'll proceed through the series thereafter.

I was surprised by this book... expected usual fluffy romance with good girl/bad boy... but this story was rough. Like reading SOA, but way more graphic. Lots of tragedy, but SUCH a good story. I just love how it was drawn out over the years, instead of happening in a short period of time. Deuce is... how do you describe him... hot, mean, nasty, hot, rough, undecipherable, hot...

I can't wait to read the next one!!

Man oh Man, Awful! Just all kinds of wrong but completely AWESOME at the same time! "You feel me?" as Deuce would say! I could not put it down, it was like a watching a train wreck so I ended up reading in a day. I really do not know much about the biker lifestyle so very early on I had to put my feminist views on the back burner and just go with it. This story was just grimy! Do not expect to read about an innocent girl who captures that heart of a bad ass. Eva has grit. Now is Deuce for me? Probably not unless your dream is be called "My old lady." and your ideal marriage proposal sound something like "I want you on the back of my bike and in my bed." Hey but it seems to work for other biker chicks! I had to get over my initial shock on the treatment of biker women, there is very little respect for them but at the same time these women allowed themselves to be treated this way. Again don't know much about biker lifestyles so maybe that is how it is. Point in case (without giving anything away). There was a heated argument between two women where one calls the other a bitch, the response was something to the effect of "Did you just call me a bitch?" Now mind you this same girl has been called a bitch repeatedly by other biker guys as if that was her first name, and her head never snapped back at that them. Interesting...I also love the speech Deuce gave the young biker boys about respecting women. Hmm, really Deuce?

I would give it five stars but I'm holding one back out of respect for my inner feminist.

I had a hard time picking my rating. I really did like this story, but it was very hard to read some parts. I know the description mentions it being ugly, and it definitely was that. I did really enjoy the fact that Eva didn't just sit around pining after Deuce and hoping he would come to his senses. She moved forward with her life, slept with other people and married Frankie. I hate those female characters that just sit and cry and wait for the guy to come around. Have some pride and self-esteem please.

The worst part for me was when Deuce cheated when she was pregnant and on bed rest, and she knew what he was doing, but she stayed because she promised not to run. I just wish when she walked on him with Miranda when she was 8 months along that she just walked out instead of getting into the fight with Deuce which started her premature labor, and then she just forgave him. I know she made him promise no more women, but at that point for me, I think they both had been through too much crap together, and she should have just walked away because he couldn't seem to not hurt her. I loved Cage standing up to his old man and sticking up for Eva and Danny... a lot of kids wouldn't admit to liking the step mother, even if they did actually like her, let alone stand up to their father for her. I think I'm gonna mark it as a favorite but only 4 stars. The writing was great, and I totally felt all of the emotions of the characters along with them, but I just can't get over the pregnant cheating.

I see the attraction to this book, it's well written and gritty as hell. For me though, it just didn't work. The age difference freaked me out, the cheating, rape, and disrespect of women was just too much. It wasn't offensive, per se. It was just not my cup of tea.

This was one hell of a fucking fucked up book , but damn it if I could stop reading it . Someone else said in a review with was a Kristen Ashley book on Steroids . I think it is that and a whole lot of crack as well as steroids.

better review to come later when I fully absorb all that I just read ....

“I'm gettin' old babe. Got grown ass kids and gray fuckin' hair. Spent too much time married to a bitch I couldn't stand, too much time beatin' myself up for wishin' I was balls deep in a bitch eighteen years younger than me. Add that shit together and that equals me being fuckin' miserable for a long fuckin' time. So yeah, I can't do this anymore. Can't fuckin' live without you. Want you on my bike and in my bed. Want my kids inside you. Want you by my side babe for as long as I got left - Deuce West”

3.5 stars. What a bundle of mixed emotions I am feeling about this book. It made me angry, angsty, frustrated, hurt, disturbed and raw. I just didn't know how I felt about it for the first few chapters but it kept pulling me back and I couldn't put it down. I did find it a bit hard to get into the story to begin with, hence 3.5 instead of 4 stars, but the characters sucked me in and I had to find out what happened. At times I wanted to jump in and slap someone and the next I wanted to hug and comfort, and this is how I judge whether I really like a book or not. If it has me feeling such intense emotions then it is well written in my opinion.

That's book was so hot. I was so worried about reading this book I had major reservations about it but I'm so happy that I step out of my comfort zone and read this wonderful book. I could not get enough of this book and I'm so happy that there is a book 2 and that I read that also.
Their story is so magnetic and the passion between them and the years and the angst my goodness. And let's not talk about the alley, the stairwell, the couch in the office I mean my oh my!

A book that you will hate to love. I mean the characters were straight up dysfunctional, the writing was almost non existent with all the swearing,(seems like every other word was a curse word) and the whole story line was just plain disrespectful to women. On the plus side, lots of steamy scenes and lots of hot alpha males.

Okay, I really don't know how to really rate this book. It could've been titled "Real Sex Lives of a Soprano's House Wife," and that about sums up the book. There was some seriously kinky erotica in this book, that I loved! I wasn't a huge fan of the timing, or the authors transitions in third person. It's hard to love Deuce in this book, he is so hot and cold over years and years, that I wouldn't know if I could keep getting broken down by him. The warning in the blurb totally suits the book. I know that most of this review is rambling.. but Undeniable blew my mind. You love to hate it and hate to love it, it is perverse and loving, then kinky and drama filled. ARGH.. just read it!

Ok so what to write about Undeniable, I seen a few friends were talking about reading this and read the book description; which had me wondering if I would like something like this. So today I purchased it off of Amazon and decided to give it a go.

Well let’s just say I didn't stop reading it till I reached the end.

I only give 5 star ratings to books I will not forget for awhile and this was one of them. The subject matter might be a bit difficult for some but I didn't find it that bad. Yes she is younger than him, and yes they both have pretty messed up lives but it’s all they know. Growing up in this lifestyle is not easy but it is what they both know and understand.

Read the book description and you will understand what I mean.

And yes you may end up hating Deuce as he does cheat, and Eva does make some bad decision and walks out on Deuce a few times.

But what I got most out of this book was even though they are bikers and they are bad guys, you can see that they actually love/care/protect each other. They may be messed up but family is family even when your family is group of bikers.

I loved that Deuce and Eva loved each so much and never ever forgot that, through years of bad decision on both parts you still really really want Deuce and Eva together in the end.

So what can I say but go buy this book right away. Go Go Go!

To the author Madeline Sheehan...You are fantastic, your writing is great, I cannot wait to read each book in this series and if you ever need a beta reader or just want to send a new fan a copy to review you can contact me...Please Please!!!!

This was such a train wreck! I wanted to run away from this book, yet the horror of it made me not look away, I couldn't help myself, I got all tangled up in the wreckage. That wreckage being all about a girl named Eva who grows up with her motorcycle gang father and lives life in the midst of drugs, crime and biker whores. Whats a day for Eva's typical 5 year old life? Oh just trips to jail and meeting people with names like Razor and Shank, and of course meeting her soon to be soul mate who is only 17 years older than her. Yay, fun times ahead!Admittedly the relationship was downright creepy, knowing that this character at five years old was going to be in bed with this older man at some point turned my stomach, although the sexual encounter doesn't happen until she's 16 and later at 20, nonetheless was still disturbing.I wanted to love all the characters and I wanted to slap all of the characters, I wanted to see them redeemed in some way, to see them come out better than they were in the beginning. To see something good out of the trash life they were all living, I guess I was looking for a Sons of Anarchy vibe and on that count I certainly got it.I saw glimmers and a few shreds of hope but for the most part just sat in a what the hell haze thinking did I seriously just read that? There are a few scenes of rape in the book that are highly revolting, not due to the tragic issue of the rape, but that in both cases Eva was able to get off on it. Outside of that (the huge elephant in the book) the plot moved along really good and the story building was everything you would except from motorcycle gang madness. While good, its for sure not a book for the faint of heart and I would only recommend it to readers who are not easily offended.

I've got a word document for every book I read that still needs a review. I forgot how often I opened Undeniable's document, wrote something, deleted it again and closed the document once more.

Somehow I'm not able to put my feelings into words. This book totally blew me away and my vocabularly used the word "fuck" in all it's variation for days after reading it.

This isn't a perfect book, there are plotholes and more than enough dark scenes that might disgust some people. But Eva and Deuce aren't perfect either and that's exactly what makes this so damn good. I can't say that I've ever been around bikers but the story seemes authentic to me.

There are many fucked up things going on, without a doubt. There are many bad decisions being made, again without a doubt. But what kept drawing me in was the dynamic between Eva and Deuce (god, I just love that name).

Deuce can be a downright bastard and Eva is seriously naive, especially in the first half of the book but like magnets they are drawn back together, no matter what shitstorm is brewing.

I'm well aware that the women in this book are treated more degaratory than anything else but for god's sake, they knew that before they got involved in that shit.

While some call the relationship between these two abusive, I call it obsessive. Deuce is no angel but Eva can hold her own and the are both equally obsessed with each other.

Deuce oftens acts like a douche and I'm not going to excuse that but I still was rooting for them and I know how hard an obsessive relationship can be. Things aren't rational and they make no sense. Your control will slip before you know it and you find yourself in the middle of a huge fucked up mess that could've been avoided if you had just taken a second to think before reacting in a whirlwind of emotions.

This review barely scratches the surface of Undeniable but my emotions are in such a knot that I'm unable to explain what exactly this book made me feel while reading.

I should not have enjoyed this book, but god I so did. It pissed me off so so so many times but I just couldn't stop reading it. Even though the main guy was an ass he wasn't, he treated her like shit a lot of the time yet I still wanted them together. It was wrong but I can't help it they were perfect for each other.

Warnings for those who don't like too much swearing, sex, violence, rape, cheating, sluts, assholes, misogynists, crazy people or criminal behavior. This book is full of it. It is not for the faint of heart. The men in this book say the words F*#$ and B*tch so much you begin to wonder if there are any other words in existence. And women are referred to as B*tch no matter if they are in love with them, hate them are just using them for sex or whatever.

I had a hard time in the very beginning with the 18 year age difference between the MC's (especially because they first meet when Eva is 5 and Deuce is 23) but I was able to push it to the back of my mind for most of the book. I'm not sure I could ever relate to the draw that he had on Eva with her being so young but it didn't stop me from getting into the book.
