About this audiobook
Dark surprises disturb Brandon at every turn-a ruined property, a traitorous, bitter family, his fiancee married to his rival. And Justine, the shy, quiet girl he grew up with is no longer a little girl, but an alluring and determined young woman. Can he trust her or is she a part of the intricate web of lies and half-truths?
As they work together to salvage what's left of Wolfsgate and their place in society, age-old jealousies and shadowy secrets threaten at every turn, but irresistible passions run wild and prove even more powerful.
Justine is his wife, after all.
Justine and Brandon have been bound in a marriage forced upon them by their family for their own deceitful purposes. But the deep, loyal bond that grows between husband and wife isn't part of their enemies' plan. In fact, it could destroy their plan.
No one counted on Brandon and Justine falling in love. Not even Brandon and Justine.
Contains mature themes.
Cat Porter
CAT PORTER was born and raised in New York City, but also spent a few years in Europe, Texas and the suburbs along the way. As an introverted, only child, she had very big, but very secret dreams for herself. She graduated from Vassar College, was a struggling actress, a SoHo art gallery girl, special events planner, freelance writer, and had all sorts of other crazy jobs all hours of the day and night to help make those dreams come true. She has two children's books traditionally published under her maiden name. She now lives on a beach in Greece with her husband, three children, and huge Cane Corso, and freaks out regularly and still daydreams way too much and now doesn't give AF. She is addicted to old movies, the History Channel, her iPad, her husband's homemade red wine, really dark chocolate, and her Nespresso coffee machine. Writing keeps her somewhat sane, extremely happy, and a productive member of society. If you enjoy emotional, character driven epic tales, her books are for you. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The best part of the book after skipping over half of the book was when the drama really began. The story started out well enough but it was mostly about sex. It was just too long for me inorder to get to the real story. The ending was good but glad it was finally over. This was my first time reading anything by this author, I hope her other books are not this drag out.
