The plot is a 21st century Cinderella fairy tale which by default lends itself to a syrupy sweet storyline and a "happily ever after" ending. To be fair, the story isn't bad, it's just very unimaginative.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. A fun, sweet contemporary Cinderella story, with a really hateful stepmother. With some laughs it's a very enjoyable, romantic read. Jace and Ella, and all the characters (except stepmom), keep the story upbeat and lighthearted. I'm looking forward to the rest of this series.
