About this audiobook

LEVI

She's a good girl . . . from a world I left behind years ago. One where virtue and purity are all that matter. She's never learned about desire, about lust. And how a fire can burn so hot that you'll risk anything to quench the flames. I'm going to change all that. She's got a body that was made for pleasure-she just doesn't know it yet. And I'm just the bastard to teach her. She's come to me for protection from the cold, cruel world. Trouble is, the thing she needs protecting from most of all . . . is me.

CHERISH

He was just a name-my only chance to escape from the way I was raised. I went to him in desperation, hoping for help, for refuge. I found a man unlike any I've ever known. And now I understand: purity is easy when there's no temptation. His touch fills me with forbidden longing. He sets me on fire . . . until burning up sounds like heaven.

Contains mature themes.

The story of Cherish and Levi's cult background was quite realistically portrayed. Overall wonderful story from start to finish.

TRIGGERS: rape, Domestic Violence, assault, kidnapping. You're not gonna believe this one. DL really dug deep down with this one. I was completely shocked when I found out who, what, when, where, why and How. I can't even really talk about it without giving up a huge spoiler but it will shock you. Cherish is from Levi's past and she needs his help. She's got no money and nowhere to go. With everything going on with the club, the last thing Levi wants is to have this new person around but when the president's old lady puts her foot down… that's that. Cherish is in a new environment with no friends, no money and no place to live. She's running and needs help. She makes a friend in Seton, who helps her settle in. This book continues with the drama between the other MC's, and we're still trying to find Hammer's killer but now there's a new threat. One they don't know is coming. I really enjoyed this book. It's kind of a slow burn. There's no insta love. There's great character building and world building. Great book.

A naive young woman runs away from a polygamist cult...straight to an MC! Levi had left the cult when he was 18yo and found real family among the Stone Kings MC in Lupin, CO. That’s where Cherish heads to when she runs away from her life as a 2nd wife. Life outside the cult is different but the welcoming members take Cherish under their wings and help her get on her feet. At first Levi wasn’t that enthused about helping Cherish but he’s come around. He just has to decide what to do with his growing feelings, after dealing with some MC troubles. But will it be too late when the cult comes to get Cherish back to the compound?
