I love this series. I do wonder, though, why not take refuge in the ski resort?

I need to first talk about the narration and how special the narrator made each character. He didn't change each voice dramatically but the little he did, coupled with the nuances he gave each character made them known. He made you feel for each of them, I found my self smiling or crying , feeling something...which makes the audiobook so much more visable. In all 3 books, the narrator gave you an amazing read, simply because he has a way about him, along with amazing material to work with.
Now to the author, he gave us such an amazing story. The storyline was strong, we may have seen similar plots but this one was so consistent and well done, it just flowed seamlessly. I said in book 2, it could have been done as 1 book... not sure why the author broke it into 3 but it effected not one aspect of this story. The horror did come into the story line and it did not disappoint. So...well done and thank you to narrator and author for making me feel something, it was a nice change of pace.

This was sure a let down. After the first 2 books in the series were so action packed and scary......this was so boring to the point where I did not care what happened to our main characters. So I cannot recommend this one. Hopefully (and I dont really know why) the next and last one ties it well.....but I dont see that happening.
