- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5If you have ever lost a pet this book may reassure you of that pet's place in the presence of God. Kurtz searches out scripture and brings to light the meaning behind them. Assuring that God loves, takes care of all his creatures and wants them in his presence. Kurtz shares humorous stories of pets that he has encountered through out his life. The end of the book contains a 30 day devotional. The selected passages not only reassure someone who has lost a pet but any one who is in need of a spiritual pick me up. However he does spend a small portion of the book writing that he does not wish to offend anyone. I find this unnecessary and more than a tad bit annoying.
