About this audiobook

It's her last chance at freedom . . . and only her enemy can save her

Andrasta, Celtic goddess of victory, has fled the cold, sterile wasteland of Otherworld for the steamy South American jungle. It's only a matter of time before the vengeful gods catch and punish her-unless she can convince the man she betrayed two thousand years ago to help . . .

Born in Otherworld to the life of a god, Camulos went rogue centuries ago. He's living on the banks of the Amazon, boxing in bare-knuckled fights. The gods believe he's dead- until Ana finds him. Ana, the woman who gave him nothing but trouble, and the woman he could never forget . . .

Thrown together, Ana and Cam must evade the wrath of the gods and a return to the living death of Otherworld. But as they flee through the jungle-and as their passion ignites-they find themselves at the heart of an ancient secret. One that could kill them both and extinguish their souls forever . . .

Contains mature themes.

Andrasta, Celtic goddess of victory and Camulos, Celtic god of war. Finally we see what all the fuss is about, since this conflict has been referred to from the first book. Turns out there was never any conflict between them. They were both victims of circumstance, their fates in the hands of every puppeteer but themselves. The reincarnation theme is once again in play but the plot is very different from book 1 where the female lead was also reincarnated to fulfill her fate.

Mythology has always been of interest to me but this series is my first insight into Celtic mythology. I especially enjoyed reading the afterword, which was quite informative on the subject.

This series of books are off the chain. As you go thru each book you get to take part of the developing of a love story. The characters all have their flaws and it's so much fun watching them grow. I love how the writer takes you through their twists and turns and prepares you for the next book in the series. Here you will enjoy what started in book one and tells you Anna's story. You can't stop you have to finish the series. Great fun and oh crap moments.

And here I thought Warren and Esha's story would be my most favorite in the series. Oh, boy, was I sorely mistaken....The third book in the Mythean Arcana series focuses on Andrasta, aka Ana, Esha's best friend, who happens to be the Celtic goddess of victory. Ana wasn't always a goddess, though. She became one when she killed Camulos, the previous god of war. Turns out Camulos isn't as dead as she thought, though. And he might just be her ticket out of her dreader position. Now if only she can convince the one man who ever made her melt to take back his place among the gods and replace her....I loved those two, maybe even more than I liked Warren and Esha. They were adorable to watch, as they kept dancing around each other. Both scared to admit how they felt, and both refusing to take that damn place of godship because they were too humane to survive in the Otherworld, where no emotion was evident and loneliness was the key word of everyone's life. And while they both wanted nothing to do with that, they were equally adamant in NOT being able to force the other to complete the task. All that pent up tension between, so many centuries old, was really something else! Now I can't wait to be done with the next book. Also, is it just me, or do I sense a book for Logan coming up?

Ana and Cam have history…a LONG time ago one took the seat of the other in the pantheon of Celtic gods. Two thousand years later one seeks out the other - tired of the job and life she was forced to live. Will they find a solution that will see them both happy in the end and if so, how will it all come to pass? This story has druids and nymphs and witches and immortals and all you might expect and them some in a paranormal story such as this…and as book three in the Mythaean Arcana series. Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read and review this book.
