I am such a huge fan of the Blue Justice series! I can always look forward to action, suspense and mystery with just the right amount of romance to make my heart warm. In this installment, Vow of Justice, the story starts out full-on suspense as Special Agent Allison Radcliffe is on a dangerous undercover mission where the threat to her life was palpable. Even though Allison knew that the operation was getting out of control, she just had to push the limits for personal reasons. Reasons that she was not comfortable sharing with anyone because then it would mean that she would have to share information about her past. That was not something she wanted to do, so, she played her cards close to her chest in regards to her reasons for being unwilling to leave until she found the information she was hoping for. Despite her conviction, it was almost too late for her and soon her carelessness would put those she cared about in danger.Allison’s partner, Linc St. John, had only known Allison for about a year but in that time, he had come to care for her on a deeper level, definitely more than just his partner, but she was reluctant, for her own reasons, to let things between them take a natural course. Still, Linc was smitten and it only tore his heart apart when he was notified of her death. Believing her to be dead, Linc made it his mission to bring down those responsible for her death. He was a man on a mission and imagine not only his confusion but his hurt as well when he found that what he had been told was not only untrue but misleading. Ouch, but Linc would have to set aside his feelings because there was more at play than what he or Allison could have ever conceived and they were going to have to work together to bring down the threat that was coming for Allison.The suspense and dramatic tension in Vow of Justice made this book such a good read! In addition, all the characters were memorable, even the villainous ones. There is nothing like a good villain in a story to get your ire up. I also loved that the St. John family were involved in an official capacity and were ready to support Linc in many ways. There was a great working relationship between Linc and Allison but what developed between then romantically was worth a swoon or two. Though, the star of this book was Allison, getting to know what drove her, learning her history, and being there as she sorted through a myriad of feelings was just wonderful. As the story progressed and the plot twists were introduced, I found that this was a book I could not put down! I am hoping that there will be a continuation in this series in the future because I am sure looking forward to more!! Lynette Eason never disappoints. Great story with good pacing. I figured out the bad guy mid-way but finding out l his motive was a surprise. Great pacing - it doesn’t lag anywhere and of course, lovely to be back with the St Johns. I wish she would write Derek’s story!

With the fourth addition to the Blue Justice series, Lynette Eason focuses her story on FBI Special Agent Lincoln St. John (finally!). I have been eager for his story, and I am so glad Vow of Justice did not let me down.Linc and his partner Allison Radcliffe make a great team—personally and professionally—and when he learns of her death, he is devastated… until Allie turns out to be alive and well. With plenty of questions and secrets, bad guys and danger and classic Eason surprises, their story unfolds at a fast, addictive pace.I easily enjoyed Vow of Justice. It fit well with what I have come to expect of the St. John family and the Blue Justice series, and for fans of romantic suspense, this is a book (and series) I am happy to recommend.I received a complimentary copy of this book and the opportunity to provide an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review, and all the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Vow of Justice is the final installment of Lynette Eason’s Blue Justice series. The series is about the St John family, who are all involved in the justice system. Each book centers around one member of the family, with the other members also making appearances. This book is about Linc, the brother in the FBI. The plot moves along at a quick pace, with lots of twists and turns that added to the mystery and kept me guessing until the end. The characters were believable and well developed. Lots of adventures, mystery, and great characters make all of these books good reading. I have looked forward to each installment of the series, and am sad that is has ended. Each book is a stand alone novel, while tying in with the others. I have received all of them through the LiteraryThing’s Early Reviewer program.

It is no secret that I enjoy reading suspense novels. This author is always one of my go to authors when wanting a book filled with intrigue. She writes characters that pop off the page with realism. I have been waiting for this book and couldn't wait to dive in.When someone has done something wrong to us, we think for a moment how sweet it would be to get revenge. Of course we don't take action. In this fast paced story we find Special Agent Linc against the wall when he loses his partner. You can feel his anger and disbelief that someone was able to kill his partner.I loved how Allie's past becomes the center of the story and the secrets that unravel as time goes on. There is more to Allie than Linc knew. Her secrets start to pile up and leaves Linc wondering if he really ever knew her. The plot is exceptional and intense with revenge as a real possibility for one of the characters.Allie is in deep with undercover work and needs help to find her way to the truth. Her journey is one that is hard at times as she has to accept that it is not her place to take action against someone. Can Linc and Allie find a way to work together? The story is a roller coaster ride as we read how revenge can take over if they aren't grounded in faith. It is a wonderful story that I loved reading and was filled with many surprises.I received a copy of this book from the Early Reviewers Program of LibraryThing. The review is my own opinion.

This is the fourth book in the Blue Justice series. You do not need to read the other three books to enjoy this one but I recommend reading them because they are all so good. This has a great amount of suspense and just enough romance for me to enjoy. I loved the characters. I received a copy of this book from Revell for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

I got this book from the library because I have enjoyed other books in the series. I was introduced to this series when I won one of the books in LibraryThing's Early Reviewers, but this book was not the one I got through that program.The plot reminded me of Dee Henderson's O'Malley series. The family in this series is the St. John Family--most of whom are involved in law enforcement in some way. Linc St. John is an FBI agent and is the St. John Family member featured in this book (though, of course, the others make appearances). That said, for most of the book, this was my least favorite of the series so far. About the last third of the book, I would say I enjoyed it and it lived up to other Eason books.NOTE: SPOILERS MAY LIE AHEAD (READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION):****Linc's partner, Allie, has two goals: take down a man named Nevsky and take down the man who killed her father and sister (Gregori Radchenko). As the book starts, she's undercover in Nevsky's home as a cook. She didn't count on bonding with Nevsky's daughter, Daria.Allie is surprised when Daria offers to give her proof that Nevsky is a killer and also determined to find her own proof. Things go downhill from there. Nevsky catches Allie snooping, and Daria has to help Allie escape. I suspected Henry was a turncoat long before the author revealed it. I didn't guess the reason why though. Perhaps, in hindsight, I should have since Henry seemed very determined to keep Allie away from Linc. Allie's family story is a sad one. I also feel sad for Daria since her father didn't seem to care much for her--particularly once he found his son. I felt sorry for Catherine who was innocent of everything but because she knew Allie was alive was taken and her torture used to ensure that Allie cooperated. I'm glad she survived and got to go back to her family. (For some reason, I thought she'd been killed rather than kidnapped.)Daria is very smart sometimes but not so much at other times. She thinks Allie betrayed her because she glimpses Henry among the people who come to the rescue--and then she runs away--yet she still turns on her phone and answers Allie's texts. Allie let her wound go too long before seeking treatment for the infection. That's not recommended. Very little is truly more important than your health. It was odd that Nevsky's terror of bees and subsequent carrying of multiple epipens is probably what helped save Allie.

Vow of Justice by Lynette Eason is the fourth book in her Blue Justice series. FBI Special Agent Linc St. John is determined to track down the ones who killed his partner, Allison Radcliffe, and make them pay for their crimes. What he didn’t expect to find was his partner alive! Now, he must deal with the hurt, anger and relief as he and Allison work together to bring about justice instead of revenge. Wow! Where do you start with a story like this one? I loved the characters. They were so down to earth and believable. They struggled with trusting God yet they kept on believing. One of the plot twists at the end was a great surprise. Didn’t see that one coming! It was a very fast-paced story with plenty of human interests throughout. I can’t say enough about Lynette Eason’s books. They’re Great!!!I received this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

If you have been following this series this is Linc St. John’s, and if not don’t hesitate to jump in, yes, it can stand alone! I have read all of this series, and this one sure doesn’t disappoint, full of action and surprises come out of nowhere, there are so much going on I kept being surprised.Life for some has very little value and Allison and Lincoln, FBI Special Agents, are really in for enough work for a life time, that is if they make it to the end.I love the way this author’s mind works, and she has me riveted and page-turning for answers, and most I never saw coming, but you sure won’t get bored,I enjoyed the epilogue, and the teaser of a new book coming, and yes I’m ready for more!I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Revel, and was not required to give a positive review.

Lynette Eason takes us on a wild ride with this finale to the Blue Justice series. Each book in this series focused on one of the St. John siblings. In this book Linc gets his story. In this story he at first believes that Alison has died and he vows to find her murderer. He does not know that she is indeed alive and has to stay "dead" to protect the people she cares about. Of course he is irritated with her at first but it soon comes a battle of trying to keep her alive. She comes close to being murdered for real many times. There are more than one evil men in this story. There was one I suspected early on but I did not know his motives until the very end and I did not know the extent of his evil ways that he was going to manifest. This book will keep you up late reading but all Lynette Eason books tend to do that. You won't regret reading this one. I suggest you read the others in the series. Thanks to Revell and LibraryThing for providing me an ARC of this book to read. This book is due for release on August 6, 2019.

This is only the second book of Lynette Eason's I've read and it was interesting. It kept my attention but not as well as the first book of her's that I read. Although you can read the books as stand alone books they do all run through the same family and characters. I will try her other books.

I love the Blue Justice series and the St. John family. However, this story was not up to par. The premise was hard to believe and the chemistry between Linc and Allie was non existent. The background stories of Allie's past and Daria's family drama were interesting but were used in a haphazard manner. By the time the book ended I was only rooting for Linc. This character deserved a better book and a better romance.

Vow of Justice is the final full length novel in Lynette Eason’s “Blue Justice” series, which follows the exploits of the crime fighting St. John siblings. This story focuses on Linc St. John, an agent with the FBI.Linc and Allison have been working together, and forming a tentative romantic bond. But Allison has secrets, that literally blow up in her face as she attempts to take down a Russian mobster with ties to her past. The suspense is nail-biting, as there are murderous mobsters, family secrets and a traitor in their ranks to deal with before Linc and Allie can deal with their own relationship.The romance is a bit less convincing than the mystery, since it is already established prior to the start of the story, and even having noticed it in the earlier books in the series, it was never a focus in those books. And Linc’s ability to accept a LOT of revelations about Allie and her past as they come up is nothing short of amazing. But this is only a minor quibble, and I enjoyed the story immensely. I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Allie and her partner are trying to figure out who is trying to kill Allie. This was a good mystery keeping your interest. The characters are well developed. This series has recurring characters introduced in the other books of the Blue Justice, series, all family members. This is the first one of the series I've read, but easy to follow the references to earlier books. I enjoyed this book, it was a quick, easy read.

Her partner Linc St. John is hurt and angry when he learns the truth, but must put aside his own feelings to protect both Allie and his family.This novel is full of action as Linc and Allie try to figure out who is behind their narrow escapes. When Allie is kidnapped and the clues just don't add up, Linc and his family must find the real mastermind of the attacks. This is an easy read page-turner, but the real villain may be discovered before the author reveals him.

Lynette Eason has written another great Christian suspense book. The characters are so real I feel like I know them. I love how the good guys are pitted against the bad guys.
