      Stung by her grandfather's interference in her plans for the family business, Amara heads to a snazzy bar to let off some steam. When mayoral candidate Lennox approaches her, she's instantly attracted. It was just supposed to be an evening together, but now they face the possibility of an unexpected pregnancy. Lennox can't afford a scandal this close to election day. Is marriage the solution?

      This is a smart, steamy, emotional romance. I enjoyed seeing these powerful characters face off and force each other to confront their vulnerabilities. Amara's relationship with her family added depth to the story.
