Kayla and her friends are out playing in the snow before heading in for snacks and TV time, which is when her pal Asia notices her ring has gone missing. Can the children re-trace their steps and find Asia's ring? Or should they follow the lead of King, Kayla's dog, who thinks a crow might have taken off with the ring? This is yet another great mystery in this series. Having the books narrated by the golden retriever King is super fun as he is full of energy. We also see two ways of approaching a problem, from Kayla's written down notes to King's hunches. All's well that ends well in this mystery that readers *might* just crack themselves based on the clues provided.
