About this audiobook
Bestselling Author Mary Connealy Delivers Laughs, Romance, and Western Adventure Tina Cahill, newly arrived from the East, is determined to get the saloon in Broken Wheel, Texas, closed for good. To that end, she pickets outside the place every afternoon. Unfortunately, so far no one has paid any attention. Vince Yates earned the nickname "Invincible Vince" because of his reputation for letting absolutely nothing stop him. Not his tyrant of a father. Nor the injuries he suffered in the Civil War. Nor the fact that he is Broken Wheel's only attorney and sheriff yet has no law degree. But Vince is about to face his biggest challenge yet: his past has just caught up with him. His father, mother, and the sister he didn't know he had show up in Broken Wheel without warning. His father is still a schemer. His mother is suffering signs of dementia. And his surprise sister immediately falls for one of Vince's best friends. Vince has a lot of people to take care of, and Tina doesn't approve of how he's handling any of them. But with almost all the other men in town married off, Vince finds himself stuck with feisty Tina over and over again. Of course, Tina is the prettiest woman he's ever seen, so if he could just get her to give up her causes, he might go ahead and propose. But he's got one more surprise coming his way: Tina's picketing at the saloon has revealed a dark secret that could put everyone Vince loves in danger.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5First off I have to say that the covers for all 3 of these stories really made me want to pick the books up and read them. The author is also one of my favorite authors as I know I will thoroughly enjoy myself when I read one of her books. This series was a joy to read.Tina Cahill has arrived in Broken Wheel to live with a brother she barely grew up knowing, Jonas (one of the "friends who stick closer than a brother" in this series). Tina is also determined to shut down the only saloon in town. Vince Yates (also one the men that have banded together) has a reputation as 'invincible Vince' because he doesn't let anything stop him when he sets his mind on something. He is the town sheriff, even though he didn't ask for the job, nor does he get paid for the job. In moments after meeting lovely Tina, Vince can hardly take his eyes off of her. But she is a feisty little thing and will cause Vince a lot of trouble before the story is over. Vince will also deal with his father bringing his mother out to him to care for her as she struggles with dementia, meeting a sister he never even knew he had, solving a mystery of who is shooting at people, stopping in Indian uprising and trying to keep himself from falling head over heels with the strong-willed Tina. There is a lot going on in this 3rd book in the series. This was full of action and interaction, of fun and of sorrow, and I thought the author did a good job of tying everything up at the end. I enjoyed all three stories, but must admit, book 2 ("Fired Up") was my favorite. Enjoy!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5STUCK TOGETHER by Mary Connealy is an exciting Western Historical Fiction set in 1868 Texas. #3 in the "Trouble in Texas",and the conclusion to the series, but can be read as a stand alone. Although, I would recommend reading the others in the series. See, "Swept Away", and "Fired Up". "Stuck Together" picks up where "Fired Up" ended.A delightful tale of forgiveness, healing, drama, a mud fight, dark secrets, and a bit of danger. Oh what twists and turns Vince and Tina find themselves in as love blossoms. "Stuck Together" pulls together families, children and friends with a bit of wit, lots of love and a bit of danger, you don't want to miss this delightful tale of love, God's plans for a couple of strong willed individuals and their families. A wonderful read from the first page to the last. Ms. Connealy pulls the reader into the story with her strong characters and her interesting storyline.
