- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is a permanent member of my "keeper bookshelf". From the very first page of the book, the author manages to grab your attention and keep it. I love how he voiced the characters. You just seem to feel what they feel and react the way they do. He keeps each character true to itself and moves the story along at a nice pace appropriate to the setting. His writing is just lyrical enough to move your heart, but not overly sappy or overblown. Highly recommend this book!
