- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5One of her contemporaries. A reunion-type story, but one that's really intense
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I know others had problems with this one because part of the plot is about domestic violence. However, for me, never having been involved in DV, I didn't have any trouble with it. Also, I thought that the violence was at the lower end of the scale (not that I am endorsing it in any way - he didn't break any bones is all I'm saying). Plus, I'm a big believer in redemption and forgiveness and this book made me believe in both for the hero. I really liked it.
