'Tis the season to join Cat and Bones for some holiday cheer in this Night Huntress novella by USA Today and New York Times bestselling author Jeaniene Frost.
They were looking forward to a normal holiday—at least as "normal" as it gets for vampires Cat and Bones and their otherworldly friends and family. But their yuletide plans are shattered when a mysterious stranger shows up and reveals long-buried secrets that threaten to take a bite out of their holiday cheer … and lives.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Home for the Holidays by Jeaniene FrostNight Huntress 6.5. Urban fantasy. Bones gets a surprise on his birthday. A previously unknown brother. But something strange is going on and it’s up to Cat and Ian to figure out the full story. Best read as part of the series. It’s got action, suspense, humor and vampires....so blood too. A wonderful addition to the series. I listened to the audio version narrated by Tavia Gilbert. Tavia had distinctly different voices for Cat, Bones and Ian. Not only voices, but timing, and cadence as well. Extremely well done and entertaining because of it.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This is the first book I've read in this series. I know, it's 6.5 technically but I haven't read the others. I was searching for Christmas books and took a chance. It was full of action and some of the sexual kind. Some vampires and some ghosts. I'm not sure that it was unique enough for me to sink my teeth into but maybe if I pick up book one I might be more enticed. All and all an enjoyable, quick read.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved this one a lot. I was surprised that there was so much action and adventure taking place in this novella. It was nice to have the entire gang together, from beginning to the end. Wonderful seeing Cat take charge as usual and it was fun to see her and Ian working together and loving their tongue in cheek banter. Great story and love how these characters keep developing throughout the entire series.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A nice fix until next book.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Of all the books and short stories of the night huntress world series so far this is my favorite. I agree with the other reviewers who wish this had been a full book instead of a short story. Quite enjoyable. i give it 3.5 stars
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5So good! I'm going to need to do a re read of the whole series soon, I just can't get enough!
