- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Author captures the obsessive desire to be with another with precision. The longing, the pain, the complete consumption of one’ s life are all there.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The vivid descriptions of the feelings of a woman in love and how they control her thoughts comes as a surprise to men who see a woman as a simple unfeeling sex object. He penetrates more than just her body for his pleasure. He begins a process within her mind that leads to ideas and understanding beyond anything he can imagine. He is an instrument of opening her mind and he, mostly has no idea of how he’s affected her. A woman gets a lot out of a love affair.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5well written, interesting depiction of what an love affair does to a person
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Boring and goes on and on and on. Anti-woman. Bad.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5It is too brief, too narrow a scope, and does not give the reader any elucidations on love, on life, on relationships. It does describe closely the personal emotions of a woman who is enthralled beyond reason during her affair.
