About this audiobook
USA Today Bestselling Mystery Series
The prize possession of former football hero, part-time media personality and full-time blowhard BJ Baker has been stolen from his palatial Palm Beach home. Baker has called in the Mayor, the police, the sheriff and everyone else he can co-opt into the search. But if he really wants the person who can find it, one name keeps coming up. Miami Jones. Problem is, he can't stand Jones. And the feeling is mutual.
Miami takes on a jealous husband, a feisty ex-con and a police detective desperate to claim everyone else's 15 minutes of fame, and he finds that Florida is home to so many retired athletes he could start a pensioner football league. But who is prepared to kill to get their hands on college football's highest honor?

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Fun book. It was pretty easy to figure out who the criminal was, well before half way, but with this type of book, that is beside the point. Likable characters, great atmosphere and locations, and witty without being cliched or obnoxious dialogue, make for a great first book. 3 more to go in the box set I bought.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.Who steals Heisman's?? Well Miami Jones is going to find out! This is a great book and a definite page turner. While I am a sports lover you don't have to enjoy football to enjoy this book. It is a mystery that is just set in a football world! Can't wait to read more stories about Miami Jones.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I received this book via Library Thing's Member Giveaways.I enjoyed this light, funny story about a detective solving a case of the stolen Heisman trophies. It wasn't necessary to be a sports fan to enjoy the dialogue and sleuthing.I will continue the series as Miami Jones gets more cases.Readers who enjoy Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar series might enjoy this.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Good read. Kind of like Harlan Coben and Carl Hiassen. A good fun detective story based around college football, sort of. Doesn't take itself too seriously.
