About this audiobook

Emmy Award-winning actress Tatiana Maslany narrates a brand-new recording of the second audiobook in the worldwide bestselling trilogy from Suzanne Collins! Suzanne Collins continues the amazing story of Katniss Everdeen in the phenomenal Hunger Games trilogy.

Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge.

The series is still so good. The narrator actually sounds like Jennifer Lawrence which is kind of cool.

I LOVED THIS BOOK ... unfortunately I wasn’t surprised or affected by many of the amazing things that happened, because I already knew what will happen because I watched the movies .

It still deserved 5 stars because I remember feeling surprised and shocked while watching the movie ?, and I can’t fault the book of that .

I loved the characters, the plot , the themes , the struggles and most of all PEETA , who now officially owns my heart.

Usually if I watched an adaptation before the book , I get bored while reading, but this didn’t happen with this book , because of how well written it is , and of course the books offers more layers of complicity that a movie can never do .

I hope this made sense ???.

Tatiana Maslany is the best narrator I have ever had the pleasure to encounter. She brings this book to life in a way no rendering of it has managed thus far.

I really liked this narration, had it on a 1.5-2.0 speed because I had already watched the film and knew what was about to come and the narration was great even then.

This book kept me on my toes from the beginning. The cliffhangers the author left made me not want to stop listening. The turn of events made me restless and found not stop smiling. This by far tops book number one.

Catching Fire is the second book in The Hunger Games series and it's just as good, if not better than the first novel in the series, The Hunger Games.

In this book we follow Katniss Everdeen and her cast of returning allies and antagonists, as well as new characters that shouldn't be judged at first introduction. This book was action packed and the suspense was ever growing.

I remember enjoying this the first time I read it over 10 years ago, and now that I've read it again I love it just as much as I did back then. I can't wait to dive back into the third book, Mockingjay.

tatiana maslany is a true, true talent. all respect to the movies - but when i think of katniss, i think of her performance first. she does a wonderful and naturalistic portrayal of the cast of characters throughout the entire series.

Nice to revisit this book in audio form so many years later. The audio edition is made exemplary by Tatiana Maslany's narration. Gripping from start to finish, a feat other versions have failed. I hope to see Tatiana Maslany continue to narrate audio books.
