- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I loved watching "In Living Color" - it's irreverent humor was new, fresh, and hilarious. At work the next day, my co-workers and I would rehash each episode and laugh. We'd yell "Homey don't play that" at each other and start giggling - men and women! This behind-the-scenes view of how that show came to be and the stories of the comedians (particularly Keenen Ivory Wayans, its creator), writers, and TV execs who made it happen is fascinating. Re-runs are still being shown on TV now, and I'm going to start watching it again. Good book.
