- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was a sweet contemporary romance. Ethan was a bad boy in high school. When his family needed him most he disappeared. Now he's back and looking to make amends. Faith was the golden girl growing up but the mighty have fallen..hard. She's looking to rebuild her life. Together they have enough issues to fill a warehouse, but they just might be what the other needs...
I really liked how well Ethan and Faith fit. I also liked that they didn't gloss over or make light of their issues. I did think Faith took things a little too far in the end, but overall I enjoyed the story and the romance. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5While I really liked a lot of Ms. Phillips' early writings, the last few have just not done it for me. This one, though, gives me great hope for the future. It just hit all the right notes. There was a flow, a comfortableness from the beginning. A little bit of angst, but a whole lot of fun. Got to read this via Overdrive/Free Library of Philadelphia. It was a wonderful find.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5To me, this is a classic among children's books. I loved it as a child, and I'm nostalgic over it as an adult. Cosgrove creates wonderful stories for children that combine fantastical characters with meaningful lessons. The illustrations are absolutely fabulous and could capture the imagination of any child. I highly recommend this and the rest of Cosgrove's books.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I absolutely adore all books by Stephen Cosgrove! Stories with morals are great for children; and parents/teachers can appreciate the lesson given. The pictures are imaginative and it's easy to sympathize with the characters.
