About this audiobook
After the death of her great-uncle, orphan Lady Rosanna Donnington is overwhelmed to learn he left her his vast fortune. But great wealth has its downsides, and she soon becomes the target of unscrupulous fortune hunters. Still, she remains determined to marry only for love.
When the loutish Sir Walter Fenwick insists she marry him, Rosanna decides enough is enough. She flees London and journeys to Donnington Hall, her new country estate. She has heard that the Earl of Melton, whose estate borders her own, desperately needs a nurse, having injured his leg in a riding accident. Knowing she can hide at Melton Castle under a false name, Rosanna decides to apply for the position as his nurse. But is tending to his injury all Lord Melton will desire from her? And will Sir Walter find her? What will happen if Lord Melton learns her secret?
Love Rescues Rosanna is a historical mystery fans of Downton Abbey will devour.
