- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This narrator was not the right one for this novel. I had a hard time reading this book because of the confusing flowery language (to me) and I thought it might be better to listen but it wasn’t.
I loved the movie but that’s the problem I think. We see in an hour and a half an unrealistic movie about this war.
It’s fast, easy to watch and now I don’t want to try and figure out what Fenimore Cooper is trying to say in an audio book or when reading the book myself.
This is my second time reading or trying to listen and I find it very slow going!
