About this audiobook
This rib-tickling new novel was inspired by the old Norse poem “The Thrymskvitha” which tells what happens when Thor’s hammer is stolen and he has to dress as a bride to retrieve it. Told by Thialfi the goatboy, and featuring Norse gods, foolish giants, and a pair of cranky goats, this one will have the whole family laughing out loud.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Cute story with some interesting twists. The voices were quite good and added nicely to the story.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The voice acting and expression were so great! Not overdone and made the story much more immersive. My 9 year old wishes there were more stories to follow up.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A fun story derived from a Norse myth. There's an afterword, with notes explaining the origins. The production is excellent. The story brings characters from other myths into the story with a fair amount of plausibility. It puts the gods in the right, in a way that they were not in the original myth, as far as I can remember.
