About this audiobook

After the sharp-eyed Jay and the roaring Lion, peace will come on Dove's gentle wing.

Three ThunderClan cats, Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Dovepaw, are prophesied to hold the power of the stars in their paws. Now they must work together to unravel the meaning behind the ancient words of the prophecy.

As Jayfeather tackles his new responsibilities as the Clan's sole medicine cat and Lionblaze trains his apprentice in the ways of the warrior cats, Dovepaw hones her own unique ability and tries to use it for the good of ThunderClan. But the dark shadows that have preyed on the Clan for many moons still lurk just beyond the forest. Soon a mysterious visitor will walk in one cat's dreams, whispering promises of greatness, with results that will change the future of ThunderClan in ways that no cat could have foreseen.

At the beginning of this book the author tells us that there is a prophecy amongst the domestic wild cats of the forest. One day three cats will lead the clan to safety and restore the balance.Biographies are provided on key characters. For example: Jayfeather: He is a grey tabby tomcat with blind blue eyes. He is the medicine cat of the clan who puts together herbs and plants that heal any wounded or sick cats. He can read other cats' minds and he has dreams which show the future. Lionblaze: He is a golden tabby with amber eyes and is the brother to Jayfeather. He is an experienced fighter who has won every battle he has fought, thus allowing him to never die in combat.Dovepaw: A young pale gray she-cat with blue eyes who is under six moons old. She is still an apprentice being trained by Lionblaze to become a Warrior, which is something that is seen as a great honor. Her power is to be able to hear, smell and see things that are far away and that no other cat can detect. This advantage allows her to sense the danger before it actually happens.Anyone who loves cats, like myself, will definitely enjoy this book! The writing is whimsical and fast paced. The author left the ending as a cliff hanger and so the reader awaits future books. Omen of the Stars, the fifth book of this series was released on November 22, 2011 and a sixth book is due out in April of 2012.

This book is about cats who train to fight and hunt mice, birds, shrews and other animals. The cats are divided into four groups: thunderclan, shadow clan, windclan, and riverclan. At the end, a battle sprouts between thunderclan and shadow clan. I think you should read this book because it's very exiting. Five star recommended.

Even though this is a kid series there's still a good story line. Less action then most of the books I have read. Still really good and well written.

Of all of the book series I have loved in my life, this is the absolute best. This book brings mystery, love and death all together into perfect harmony, and it is an enticing read. The series overall is a charming and addicting read.

This book was Great! It's the 2nd book of this series and mostly talks about cats and a profecy to be done. When Dovepaw comes back from finding the beavers dam, Tigerstar starts his plan of creating an army in and "outside" the clans. He tells a follower a false rumor and war is started. But the living cats don't know that a dead cat not from Starclan started this. I would recommand you read this book if you have read the other series before you read this book so you don't get confused.

This book was pretty good. It was a very fast read, that's for sure. But I don't think anything really exciting happened in this book, like that other ones. The battle at the end was interesting, and it makes me wanna read the next one even more. But the beginning up to the middle was pretty regular. I think that's what made it a fast read. But I don't regret reading it, and I liked it.
