Ex-Ephel Duath members turn to death metal dissonance
Comprised of two ex-members ornamented with fret-melting weirdness, it’s pretty irrepressible, and an easy step into the world of discordant DM in general. What borders on mania, though, is that this thing is 15 songs long. They’re short, but the album’s not paced in any significant way as to mitigate their similarity, making for a bit of a soup by the end.
