Film: ARTHUR MILLER: WRITER
A family portrait, you might say, of the great dramatist and writer. Miller’s daughter, Rebecca, “offers an insider’s account of a complicated life”, said the Atlantic, that includes footage she shot when she began her film-making career in her 20s. Rebecca narrates the film, covering her dad’s origins as the son of a Polish immigrant, whose business losses during the 1929 crash seem to have inspired Death of a Salesman. His marriages, including to Marilyn Monroe, are covered and interviewees include family members and playwright Tony Kushner and director Mike Nichols.

Lifestyle: VINNIE JONES IN THE COUNTRY
He’s not really a hard man, he just plays one on TV. Vinnie Jones goes a bit Jeremy Clarkson on a rundown farm in West Sussex, where he obsesses over birdsong, bluebells and hedgehogs. There is a deeper purpose: the return to his country roots is a way of coping with grief after the loss of his wife.
