Nature: WILD SCANDINAVIA
The BBC ventures into some of the most spectacular landscapes on Earth, home to fascinating animals and intrepid people. The threepart series explores the worlds of the coastline, the interior, and extremes. Tonight’s first episode follows a coastal journey from the Baltic Sea to the Arctic coast. There are orca, otters and sea eagles and a human base jumper who leaps off a 1000m cliff. Episode two goes into the great forests where bear, wolves, lynx and beaver abide, and the last episode explores the regions of ice and fire, where polar bears and foxes survive the long polar night by the light of erupting volcanoes and the Aurora Borealis.

Crime drama: THE ASUNTA CASE
True-crime documentaries were not really a thing in Spain until the shocking murder of 12-yearold Asunta Yong Fang Basterra Porto in 2013. It was massive in the media, and a four-part doco was considered a landmark. Now, it’s a miniseries starring Candela Peña and Tristán Ulloa as Asunta’s parents.
