1 Hike the Towersig Trail
This is one of the most accessible trails in town with options for every fitness level, from 2,7km to 12km. The trail takes you up the koppies and gives you an unparalleled view of town and the Klein-Swartberg. Can you make out the“eland”in Elandsberg right behind town? Look to the south to see the back of Sleeping Beauty, which looms over the town of Riversdale.
Where? Follow the signs opposite the tourism bureau up Church Street.The trail starts at the top of Hospital Street, where you can also park your vehicle.
Cost: The trails are free to hike, but donations for maintenance are welcome.
