SUITE DISAPPOINTMENT

I wanted to get in touch regarding the Business Traveller Awards 2023, where the Best Airline award went to Singapore Airlines. Awards such as these are a factor in a customer's choice when selecting an airline to fly with. The airline uses the award as a headline to boast about the quality of product and it is in effect an inducement by them to convince a customer to buy a seat.

I recently spent a lot of money flying Singapore Airlines business class from Phuket to Brisbane. One of the main reasons was that the website showed a business class “suite”, which was completely individual in a roomy pod.

When I got on board, it was nothing like the advertised product. I had an average seat that was cramped and I couldn't sleep as the footwell was so narrow – I am 186cm. The whole experience was a massive let-down and a total waste of money.
