Slam-door unit returns to Waterloo as debut draws near

HISTORY was made in London on January 27 when, after an absence of just over 18 years, a Class 423 EMU returned to Waterloo station thanks to a collaboration between the Southern Electric Traction Group, South Western Railway, GB Railfreight and Network Rail that saw stars align for the momentous occasion to take place.
