Watching the impala and waterbuck nervously navigate their way around the crocs to get to the waterholes in the Shingwedzi riverbed in the Kruger National Park, you might be wondering where along this river the beautiful Shingwedzi Cliffs you've heard about are.
Dig out a map and you'll find the cliffs are a mere 40 km southeast as the crow flies, about 20 km on the other side of the border with Mozambique.
