While Ireland is beautiful and has a certain mystic charm, and England is England (but too much traffic!), both are fickle as far as the weather is concerned. And good weather is what Africa, and South Africa in particular, seems to have in abundance. And the other thing that seems to be round every second corner when you are out in the countryside is spectacular scenery.
