Recently I've been trying to get back into running after a long injury break. Most of you will have been there at somenegative inner voice and is something we could all likely use at times. Of course we want to train and do well, but as triathletes we can often be too hard on ourselves and overcomplicate things. That's why the theme of this issue is ‘back to basics’ (p29). Whether experienced triathlete or beginner, it's a good reminder of the essentials we all need to focus on as tri season approaches.
