Most of us like to bring a souvenir back with us when we’ve been away on holiday. Perhaps a bottle of the local liqueur, which will gather dust at the back of your drink’s cabinet, or maybe a fridge magnet. Rob Collins came back from his trip to Mexico with an MGA.

He didn’t squeeze it into his hand baggage though. “It was August 2018, and I was relaxing on a sunbed, passing the time between diving trips,” Rob explains. “As all of us do, I started browsing on eBay. I’ve been a classic Jaguar man but I’d always liked theto see what it was all about.”
