FODEN 6X4 TRACTOR UNITS

In the USA ‘tandem-drive’ or, if you prefer, 6x4 ‘double-drive’ tractor units are the norm but not so in the UK. Some operators, such as those engaged on waste recycling and similar jobs involving partial off-road work, might prefer them to 6x2 units but for most haulage applications, British operators are firmly wedded to the 6x2 with either a mid-lift pusher axle or a lifting ‘tag’ axle.
