“We knew that this was the home we wanted to get married in,” recall Ricardo and Chérie Liut of the first time they visited this 1920s house. “And we were just dating at the time, we weren't even engaged.”
The house wasn't in great shape, it was getting dark and the tenants weren't keen for them to walk through it. “But once we'd glimpsed the pressed ceiling and bay window, we knew it was the place for us.”
As graphic designers and professional photographers they both appreciated the charm of the architectural elements such as the gables, the elegant proportions and the lovely spacious garden with its large palm and productive apricot tree. “The fruit from this tree gives us wonderful jam every year,” says Ricardo.
