Brutal honesty

Excellent article on your Brutale, Dean (AMCN Vol 73 No 07). Congrats on the purchase and it looks like a ripper. As someone who came into riding a few years ago in my 30s (I was always a car nut – particularly old minis), I really enjoy hearing the stories behind why people love the bikes they buy/own.

I am lucky enough to have a few bikes in the shed and recently bought a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R 30th anniversary edition. After removing the obscene Akro mid-pipe and reverting to OEM (much the same story as yourself!) this has quickly become my favourite bike I’ve ever bought. I love any older style bikes and cars, and for $11k odd I couldn’t ask for a better bike and with every accessory I could ask for. Definitely looks the part, too.
