FEATURE WINING AT TWINNING
Three bikes, one engine, three very different experiences. Of course, you could have anticipated that from just looking at this trio, but through getting stuck in and having a blast on each of them, Ime that would like to see it last in the line-up for a long time yet to come, but ask yourself when you last saw one out on the roads? Now ask yourself if you'd actually like to ride one? By my reckoning, it's not the easiest of bikes to just hop on and go, let alone the most comfortable or practical either, but in the right place, with the throttle pinned and rear ABS disengaged, there's a lot to love about this bike… but not enough to make me want to own one. The Multi, on the other hand, really pricked my attention. It is the pipe and slippers of this mix, but despite its sedate looks, it is something of a naughty librarian. Give it enough enthusiasm and it's suddenly a right laugh, albeit an occasionally sketchy one at that if you push its pogos too far. I quite liked that trait, giving it an edginess the other two didn't offer. Of course, we're all looking for different things from bikes and that's the beauty of this line-up... with each offering skinned so differently from the other, they're almost incomparable. Yes, they share the same engine, but that's about it – they're as unique as us, and that's no bad thing. Which is right for you is a whole different question, but if you're in the market for a v-twin powered protagonist, hopefully this has put a few more options on your radar. Get out there and give them a go.
