EV ANGEL was a nurse and treated fallen riders from time to time and was known and liked by all the top racers.

She met Ken Blake when the Ron Angel tuning shop was in Burnley Street Richmond in the early ‘seventies. Ken and Ev went on to live in Kew, the scene of many fine post-race parties. She passed away peacefully at the home she shared with multiple state hill climb
