Methods and attractants for trapping bobcats are subjects that have kept trappers talking around campfires for as long as I can remember. The bottom line is if a trap is set where that cat will be traveling, and the set is under its nose, more than likely you will catch it. It sounds too simple to be true, but it is.

Now, with that being said, to catch bobcats in any numbers, well then the methods become more complicated. Attractants or baits for the little felines can be as simple as a can of sardines. And, yes, a lot of cats have been trapped with less than that.
