SCOOTERIST EVENTS

Back in 2010 we hosted the first VVC Rally to be held at Sandal Rugby Club near Wakefield in West Yorkshire. In 2019, after being encouraged to host another, the VVC booked the site once again, with the rally being planned for July 2020. This would have been the 10th anniversary of the one we hosted and as we knew the format of the event, everything was going to be easy and go like clockwork… Ey alright???!!!

LOCKDOWN

Early in 2020, we all became part of one of the big landmarks in history as we found ourselves in the middle of a global pandemic; scared into submission, we complied with what we were told and locked down. Obviously, this meant that any social gatherings (other than government parties) were outlawed and we had to postpone the event until 2021.

This again didn’t happen for the same restrictive reasons,
