Dear Ask Us Anything, I was wondering if it is possible to get trimmed armour in the Creative inventory or with commands? The reason for asking is because I've been away from Minecraft for ages and returned without a clue as to how a smithing table works! Thank you so much for your help. Liam, age 11

Thanks for your letter. We understand it can be tough to pick up new features in Minecraft when you’ve had some time away. Unfortunately you can’t pick trimmed armour from the Creative inventory, and while it is possible to add trimmed armour using the console, the commands would be so long that it’s not really feasible to list or explain them here!
The good news is that we’ll be doing a guide to armour trims in the very next issue, so pick that off the shelves and you’ll be able to get a full set of instructions as to how to add trims.
