Hey Alex! We’re big fans of the Java Edition too! But to answer your questions:
It’s pretty simple once you know how – just open the chat console and type in the command/give @s minecraft:command_block 1 – this command will give the person executing it one command block. You can change the number to anything higher to give yourself more, but remember they only stack in groups of 64!
That really depends on what you want to do with it! We’re a big fan of simple commands that can do things like change the weather or time of day, but if you play around you’ll fi nd all sorts of commands are available. If you want to do something, there’s probably a command that’ll help you do it.
