Don’t procrastinate
I’m lying here recovering from prostate cancer surgery and reading the latest issue (AMCN Vol 73 No 02). Geez, I hope you’re wrong, Kel, cos I can’t ride for at least a few more weeks.
Any of you blokes who have a family history of prostate cancer get it checked out. I had no symptoms, just a slightly elevated blood test result. From there it’s an MRI which will tell the specialist what’s happening. No rectal examination anymore – that’s old school. Don’t put it off any longer.
