was lucky enough to grow up in beautifully decorated homes in both Australia and New Zealand. My childhood home was a fantastic architect-designed ’70s building with internal atriums and a sunken conversation pit. For Auckland, it was completely different to anything else around at the time. My parents worked with interior designers to style our homes, so from a very young age I really got to see how spaces can be transformed or maximised to suit daily life in the household. I learnt to stretch my imagination beyond what makes a room in a home.
