ANIMAL/BIRD SLAB FORM

You will need:

■ Paper to make templates

■ Tracing paper and pencil

■ Craft knife

■ Clay of choice – earthenware or stoneware

■ Rolling pin, plastic sheet, 6-10mm thick roller guides

■ Underglaze colours of choice

■ Brushes

■ Transparent glaze (optional)

Before you begin:

We’re showing you a couple of birds, but the principle for making the templates is the same no matter what the animal, so if you have a favourite, you can make that as an alternative.
