This quilt is a slow stitching, hand appliqué project made from reproduction fabrics, a collection of different hues of a variety of colours — blues, purples, greens, browns, caramels and reds. There are two background colours and the darker border and the binding ground the finished quilt. Linda has used a fairly new product — water-soluble appliqué paper — to prepare her appliqué shapes. Visit her website for a detailed tutorial on how to use it.
