The International Day of Yoga has been celebrated across the world annually, since 2015, on June 21.
The main aim of yoga is the union of the mind, body and spirit to realise a unitive state. It’s an ideal way to focus the mind on body movement, stretching and posture.
Each stretch is called an asana, which co-ordinates with breathing. Most postures should be held for at least 10 seconds
