WHEN there are problems with budgerigar hens and their eggs, it's usually put down to the hens not being fully fit. I don't think I have managed to get my birds as fit as usual this year, so I have had plenty of problems in the breeding room. Let's look at some of the reasons in addition to fitness and make some suggestions.
