Still life is my preferred oil painting genre as I really want to portray, document and celebrate the subject in all its beauty. To realise this goal I try to create a high level of realism using the alla prima technique with painterly and visible brush strokes. I have developed my style with practice, painting almost daily. Nature has been my greatest teacher, always showing me new ways to appreciate and observe life which in turn, I try to document. I love to paint anything that can tell a story, is beautiful and eye-catching.
