The other day, on the cable channel, a show came on about trapping. The trapper was catching coyotes in what appeared to be a desert of sand. I watched as he made a step-down set by simply shoveling out a bed for the trap and drag with his gloved hands. He would then plop some lure into the set and bait it in this easily made set, and he was on his way. I’ve never seen anything as close to a perfect setup for the ease of trapping coyotes in my lifetime.
